so embarrassing
Yest went back to "entertain" the cute p2 kids at PPs...feels gd to be back at a old familiar place and many of the teachers actually remembered me....hOho shows i left a pretty great impression during my 3mths of relief teaching there last yr.bt i thk i left a even GREATER impression yest evening...aRGhh! The kids were supposed to be down for assembly at 6.25pm,i was so engrossed admiring my proud piece of artistic creation on the board(2 figures of an indian and a malay ger) that i 4got the timing!!!
By the time i gathered e grp of noisy kids neatly in 2lines,walking down 1/2 halfway, i heard the familiar"mali gita(p1 n p2 kids way of singg e national anthemn) .I just went "Oh shit!" soi stopped the kids at e stairs hidden fr the rest n asked them 2 join in e singing SOFTly(hoping no1 will discover my class was late,if lucky might be able to escape unnoticed ah)...bt sorry! The kids really showed me how patriotic they can be...they sang their "mali kita ya" as LOUDLY as they could!!!I bet all e teachers heard fr the assembly area la!so i had no choice bt to lead them to e assembly area....evry1 turned n looked,to make things worse,1 of my class students said to me "miss Ye, 1st time we're late for assembly leh...":( .....what can i say...
Hehe, bt come to thk of it, it's pretty funny...n i realise i kind o miss going back there to teach (bt only for short term)
