We had a sinful indulgence at Menotti cafe at Raffles city!

The soffiato(the cylinder cake with a hole in the middle), a warm dark choc cake

served with choc chip ice-cream.It's simply irresistable!!Trust me!

The contrast of warm and cold created the most delightful sensations on my taste buds!

Even the thought of it made me drool...

What could have made us take the risk of having ack's car clamped?Soffiato!:D

and...What else could have made me go back the next day wif my lulus, Ruu and Qiao e to the same cafe again?yes!!Soffiato!!haha!

After spending the restless Good Friday afternoon at TCC (Boat Quay),trying the shift the bean bag to the most comfortable positions we can, the 4 muggers, Jojo, cw,Ack and I were craving for sth unique!So started googling for good places to eat!

Ack's recommendation..yes AGAIN!!haha!

We ended up at Absolute Haven cos it was supposed to be good!

Alrightz, ambience there is something to gush about when we 1st stepped in – neat, creative, casual.Bt we thought the sound was too contained, very noisy!!

food: the starter was nice, HOTTT spicy buffalo wings!*Finger licking good!*:D

Main course was a bit too healthy for our likely!Jojo's Fish and chips has this unique taste and overwhelming aroma.It is unique but abit too much!

I tried the chef's recommendation,Chicken Roulade ($20) – crispy, oily chicken stuffed with soft bacon and spinach. Add flavour to the chicken by dipping it in the cream sauce it comes with – thick, slightly sweet and slightly pungent. It came with a mashed avocado salad..taste really ...special.Ack's face cringed when she tried while cw was frantically searching 4 sweet avocado!haa! Overall, I will give it 3 out 5 stars.

Cw's pasta was the best so far cos ack's chicken pie tasted abit like diluted chicken curry.

And my indulgence didnt stop here...seriously i thk I'm a piggy^(00)^!! I bought 1/2 dozen of J&co donuts cos i was lured by the long queue!

I always gt this mentality, long queue=great food!The almond donut was delicious!!

The 2 whole days of indulgence has made my pocket suffer a big hole and me a ^(00)^!
