16March 2007-佛光山
A trip to 佛光山with e international students, from 14 diff countries.Though it's my 2nd time there but it's still fun. Dined with the monks and nuns at their canteen...had a tough time trying to stuff all the food down,rice,vege,soup,sweet potato Nnn fruits,wahh! (it's a rule nt to waste any food),to keep quiet throughout the whole meal and lastly to rem where to place each and every dish b4 and after eating!(sOO many rules!!)
They actually has a university in the monastery,the students can choose to major in chinese or english modules and those majoring in english will be given chances to go overseas.Wahh!Besides being impressed, I just have to say that everyone, everything is going into globalisation, cant hlp bt ask, is that e primary motive of religion?
2 days Tainan trip.
If u're asking for places of interest, ruined walls and forts(安平古堡） probably wrap up their main places of interest.
But if u're going for gd food and shopping, Tainan certainly has everything.Went to their 花园夜市，tried my long awaited smelly beancurd,ou lua, 棺材板（french toast with filling in the centre)and MORE...e things there are just simply irresistable...and guess what! That's only their 2nd largest night market,e biggest is their 情人夜市！so gona go there e nex timei visit tainan!
2nd day, 误打误撞到了一个鸟不生蛋的地方叫"月世界"。Mts and mts of grey soil and perhaps the lake is the only sight worth looking.The melons there are hugmongous!apparently 冬瓜茶is very popular in Taiwan...saw a super long queue @ 1 of their streets.Of cos must give it a try!Bought the lemon flavour 1, 淡淡、甘甘的...赞！
24-25March-kenting Trip
Sun, sand, water!WoHooo...I lOve Kenting,love the beach!而且看到明星哦！
Spent 2 days @ Kenting,spent extensively!
Screamed my lungs out on the clam-like float and motor jet.All the water activities for just sg $30.We also saw this taiwanese "star",宏齐德， ok la, he's nt exactly famous bt at least he's e 1st star that we met in Taiwan!hahah!
Heard alot abt Kenting,I thought Kenting is about water theme park,I was wrong!It's about beach and basically just another street where gays，辣妹跳钢管舞 、猛男秀are a common sight！Xinrui's anata kept asking me to go n watch with him...but didnt go cosI got no money to stuff into those 猛男的小裤裤after their performance!hahah!:P(kidding!bt I heard tt's what most ppl will do!Hahha)
